Kitchen Sink Bag

A busy woman needs to carry her life in her bag, so it needs to be big if it's going to hold the contents of her daily routine. It might rain, so there's an umbrella. She might be called upon for a sudden meeting so there's her diary/ notebook. She might have to dash straight from the office to the dinner table, so there's the hefty make-up to reapply her face. Sod's law she'll have her period at the same time. Her big bristly hairbrush will also be included because it's the only one she has. If she has children, there will probably be a stray nappy or half-empty bottle of baby milk in there too. All that's missing is the proverbial kitchen sink, but of course there's no room for that.

If you are that woman, it's time to think mini. Buy small sizes of make-up and beauty products or decant them into miniature containers. The brush can be shrunk to a few inches that will do the job just as effectively as the big fella. Cull all unnecessary items. You can get tiny, light umbrellas, and how about an electronic organiser instead of a heavyweight diary?

What a joy it will be to have easy access to your life by getting rid of the chaos that was once the contents of your handbag.
