With the relaxing of the dress code and demise of any rules of etiquette, hat makers have adapted their skills to incorporate things that look like hats but actually aren't. As more women cotton on to the ease with which these hair accessories can be assembled, you now see flowers and feathers put together to create hat-like headgear that is cheap to buy and glamorous to wear.
