How to wear red

'I can't wear red.' Well, you may be right. Red is difficult to wear and you really must find the right tone for your complexion. If you have even a touch of the florid in your skin, if you are just slightly sunburned or a fake tan devotee, red will only bring out the lobster in you.

Surprisingly, red can look its very best against pale white skin or black skin, as well as with the beige skin tones.

The trick with red is to keep it hot. Wear it with pink and orange and tobacco and fuschia. There's no point trying to tone down red. Pump it up. Wear it full blast or don't wear it at all.

The most common mistake is to team red with black or white, or both. Don't do it.

Trinny wearing the only red item she owns

This is the only red that I have in my wardrobe. Solid red just wears me but broken up into this pattern, with the pink tones further brought out by the necklace, I can just about get away with it.
