Golden rules for for thick ankles and calves
- Kitten heels are unkind to thick ankles.
- Never encircle the ankle - a strap should only be seen below.
- Clingy skirts only emphasis the width above the foot.
- Long skirts are made for thick ankles (even if you are under 5'2").
- Boots are the saviour for thick calves.
- Never wear capri pants.
- Never wear leggings except to the gym (and if you're single don't even go there).
- Never wear three-quarter-length dresses or skirts.
Black and brown shoes should never be worn with pale outfits
