Getting in balance
4 February 2007
Did you know that there are only four ways for your body to be out of balance - out of tune with nature? When assessing clients using muscle-testing techniques I check to see which of these four ways is their 'priority' imbalance at that moment in order to find the underlying cause of any symptoms. It takes minutes to do yet provides profound information unique to each individual. The four major potentially causative factors are electrical, emotional, biochemical and structural. There will always be something in one of those four categories that can be used as a guide to treatment. The most obvious is biochemical, to do with diet, nutrition, drugs, or absorption and utilisation by the digestive tract. Structural relates primarily to the spine - how it is aligned and whether or not there is pressure on nerves creating irritation anywhere in the body. Electrical and emotional imbalances are less obvious and more subtle, but no less crucial to the overall healing of the whole person. It's fascinating to discover things about yourself that you may not consciously be aware of!
