Keep it simple
30 April 2007
Beauty comes from within; we all know that, don't we? Apparently not! We're still spending zillions of pounds on creams to stick on our faces to make us beautiful. Doesn't work. Happiness makes us beautiful, that glow that comes from feeling good that makes us radiate an energy to all around us. I watched an interesting documentary about anti-ageing products, and the long and the short of it was that a nearly £300 face cream was so packed full of ingredients that they counteracted each other. Under the microscope, skin did not change. The most effective product was a simple high-street brand that contained vitamin C and vitamin E. There was a noticeable effect, relatively quickly. If we simplify our lives, can we all be happy and beautiful? Probably. But it is individual choice that makes the world go around, and there will always be those of us who thrive on aiming for the most we can cram in to a day or a life. The key to happiness and beauty and radiance and successfully achieving - to whatever degree - is energy. We need energy to exist. We need energy to make the most of our lives. We need energy to actually feel happy. And we need energy to be beautiful. Have you ever thought of that? If we pack our lives with so much stuff that we physically and mentally burn up all the fuel, there is not enough energy left for cellular repair. Not to the extent that we want, to stay youthful, fresh and radiant. Let's simplify. Let's see what we can do less of, let go of, and de-clutter. And make the most of what we're blessed with by eating simple, healthy food and boosting our energy naturally.
